Free online course to help you understand psychosocial hazards

Psychosocial hazards are a work health and safety issue that can impact workers across all industries.

To help build awareness and understanding, ReturnToWorkSA together with SafeWork SA has launched an online course to help workers recognise psychosocial hazards, why they matter, and how workers can contribute to mentally healthy workplaces.

Through the self-pace course, participants will learn how to:

  • Recognise common psychosocial hazards
  • Understand their rights and legal protections under WHS laws
  • Identify their role in preventing harm
  • Understand employer responsibilities, risk management and consultation processes.

The module is free to access, takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, and can be undertaken at a time that suits the learner.
